Mr. Ashish K Gupta (born 13th March, 1971) joined Tata Steel in 1993 as Graduate Trainee. In his 24 years with Tata Steel, he has handled various responsibilities in the areas of Electrical Maintenance, Cold Rolling mill operations, logistics and as Head of Business Analysis Group for Flat Products Division. He was Chief of Customer Service Division & Logistics in Tata Steel, before moving to TMILL as Managing Director in 2017.

Mr. Gupta has completed B.E. Electrical from IIT Roorkee and subsequently completed General Management Program from XLRI Jamshedpur in 1998. He has also completed General Management Program from INSEAD (CEDEP) in 2018.

Mr. Gupta is the Managing Director of TMILL. He is also a Director and Chairman of International Shipping & Logistics FZE (ISL), Dubai and TKM Global Logistics Ltd. He is also a Director on the Boards of TKM China and Tata NYK Singapore.

Mr. Gupta is a member of CII's National Logistics Council and Co-Chair of CII's Eastern Region Logistics Committee. He is also a member of ICC National Executive Committee. He was conferred Supply Chain Executive of the year award in the year 2014 by ICC.
