International Shipping & Logistics (ISL) FZE, UAE is a
wholly owned subsidiary of TM International Logistics
Limited. The company is based in Jebel Ali free zone and is
involved in operating ships carrying dry cargo for its
various clients across geographies. ISL’s span of activities
in terms of port calls ranges from Baltic and black sea
ports in Europe to Indian, Thai and Chinese ports in Asia
including all major ports in red sea and Persian gulf. ISL’s
business model is to provide a customized solution to select
clients through sea transportation and other logistics
services integrated to sea transport activity. The company
carries more than 2 million tons of wide range of products
which includes Urea, rock phosphate, other phosphate based
fertilizer raw material, fly ash in bags, clinker,
limestone, steel etc. The company offers integrated solution
to customers by packaging ocean freighting with other
auxiliary services like transloading and barging for draft
restricted ports or with port handling and ship agency
services offered through its parent company TM International
Logistics Limited. Its client base includes reputable
companies like Transchart India, Tata Chemicals Limited,
Siam cement, Ashapura Minechem Limited, Arab potash company,
Tata Steel Limited, Bramco LLC Dubai etc. The company was
incorporated in 2004 and over years, it has established
itself as a reputed niche ship operator. The company
currently operates ships with variety of dry bulk cargo
including fertilizers, limestone, metallurgical coke,
sulphur, iron ore, steel, projects, agricultural products

from its head office located in Calcutta. It handles various dry cargo
linked to steel industry namely coking coal, metallurgical coke,
limestone, semi finished and finished steel, Ferro chrome , chrome
concentrate etc. which are ocean freighted through a mix of spot
fixtures and Contract of afreightments (COA). Such cargos are mainly
moved in and out of India to destinations including Australia, Japan,
Singapore, China, Dubai, Colombo, Europe, South Africa and USA. The
company enjoys healthy business relationship with its business partners
including ship owners, local and overseas shipping agents, overseas
stevedoring and terminal operators and provides a reliable and efficient
service to its regular clients.
