Capt. S.R. Patnaik (born 05th July, 1969) joined TMILL Port Operations, Haldia in April 2004. Subsequently moved to TMILL Chartering Division, Kolkata in Nov 2004. He was part of the taskforce created to operate the first bulk carrier 'CMB Talent' in March 2005 under joint vessel operation with NYK.

Capt. Patnaik was instrumental in starting third party ship chartering operation under ISL in the latter part of 2005 and made it a success. He was transferred to Dubai to head ISL as General Manager in 2006 and subsequently COO in 2008 and CEO & Director in 2011. He was also a Director in TM Harbour Services (subsidiary of ISL & TKM Germany), a company that was managing tugs in Dhamra Port.

Prior joining TMILL, Capt. Patnaik was in the merchant Navy with a sailing experience of 16 years, with 8 years in command. He sailed on various types of ships such as Bulk Carrier, Tanker & Container with multi-national crew and worldwide trading.

Capt. Patnaik is a Certified Master Mariner (FG) from Lal Bahadur Shastri Nautical & Engineering College-Mumbai, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (FICS), London.

He is also a Member of the Nautical Institute, London (MNI) and a Member of the Indian Business and Professional Council, Dubai (IBPC).
